Mid-Life Crisis?

I guess everyone know that I turned 40 last October. That is a time when you start thinking that your life is half over and reflect on where you are in your life. Some guys get a new sports car, some guys get a girlfriend, some guys get plastic surgery or some other make over. Well I got my self a duck boat. Is it because I am having a mid-life crisis? I don't think so. I think I have just wanted a duck boat for a long time. I talked about getting one for a couple years but I didn't get one because we were going to be moving. Now since we aren't moving, I got the boat. I was able to find one that is exactly what I was looking for. I got a 2008 Excel 18X51 with a 35 HP hyperdrive. I will post pictures once I feel well enough to go out and take some. October can not come fast enough!

Yesterday, I started not feeling well and today I haven't been out of bed very much. Hopefully tomorrow I will start feeling better.

We leave for Disneyland on Thursday. We will be there for 6 days and we will celebrate Brit's 16th birthday while there. I am sure we will have a great time.

Whoa March

Well March is almost over. . . Finally.

Here is a quick recap:
Had a server failure and had to restore the data from backup.
Celebrated my sisters birthday with her and her family.
Flew to Phoenix.
Drove to LA (towing a 5th wheel in So Cal. really sucks).
Changed time zone and Daylight savings on the same weekend.
Spent 4 days in Disneyland.
Ate one big turkey leg.
Flew from LA.
Reloaded Windows on 15 computers.
Flew back to LA.
Spent the night in a Mesquite RV park.
Drove home from Mesquite in under 5 hours.
My Mom had surgery.
Performed a server migration.
Setup an Email server.
Replaced a failed Router at 12:30 on a Saturday night.
Went to Brunch with my family.
Earned a free flight on Southwest.
Had my biggest month (total sales) ever.
Adapted to a new puppy.
Welcomed home my family.
Celebrated my Mother's birthday.

Got to go now. I have a breakfast tomorrow morning downtown at Little America. I need to be there by 7:30.

No wonder I am a little bit tired.

Blolacker? Maybe. Lazy? I don't think so.

Collared Peccaries

Collared Peccaries also know as the Javelina (or Javelin as my family like to call them), are very hard to find. They are called the Ghosts of the Desert, now I know why. Nate and I hunted hard for 2 straight days and didn't even see a single animal. We saw plenty of sign (tracks, poop, eaten vegetation) but we did not see any animals at all. We had a good time and look forward to chasing them again next year. We were able to ride Qaud runners and covered a lot of territory in 2 days. We did see tons of birds (bluebirds and Cardinals included), Mule deer, squirrels, jack rabbits, cottontails, lizards and lots of cat tracks.

The hunt goes for a few more days but I will need to plan on next year. If you want to go, start planning on it now.
